Welcome to my portfolio.

Hi, I’m Quinn

I’m a senior B.F.A. candidate at Augustana University, with concentrations in painting and drawing. I make art about Western American history and culture—a lot of it is related to my home in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The Black Hills are the traditional homeland of the Lakota, Cheyenne, and many more tribes—all of whom are still here.

My work is visually inspired by great American painters like Maynard Dixon and Albert Bierstadt. I borrow from their dramatic compositions and challenge them with contemporary perspectives on environmentalism and critical historical research.
